How to Apply

If you have a current job at Ŀ;, you can apply as an INTERNAL APPLICANT: login and apply through , using your Ŀ; username and password. IMPORTANT: You MUST first connect to Ŀ;'s VPN before you login to Workday (). Once logged into Workday, type "Find Jobs" in the Search bar. Then search for “Political Science Teaching Assistants Fall 2025”, once you have found it, you can apply directly through your Workday account.

If you do not have a current job at Ŀ;, you must apply as an EXTERNAL APPLICANT: navigate to the . First sign in to your candidate account or create one, as applicable. IMPORTANT: To create your account, make sure to use a personal email address (and NOT an @mail.mcgill.ca or @mcgill.ca email address). Search for “Political Science Teaching Assistants Fall 2025” in the Search bar and click Apply to begin the application process.

Important Note: International Students

International students must have a valid Canadian Social Insurance Number to work as a teaching assistant (or other employment on campus). To apply for a Social Insurance Number, you will need to present your Visa/Study Permit at your local Service Canada Centre after arrival in Canada, before starting work.
