IMPORTANT MESSAGE
Court ruling on tuition increases for Out of Province students
Although the recent judgment from the Quebec Superior Court declared the Quebec government鈥檚 increase to the Out of Province tuition supplement to be unreasonable and invalid, it also stated that said tuition remains temporarily in effect and gives the Minister of Higher Education 9 months to review this policy and modify it to conform to the reasons outlined in the judgment. Therefore, there is no change to past or future Out of Province tuition rates, for now.

Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada are required to provide the following documentation in support of their tuition status at 澳客竞彩 and听their application for a Quebec permanent code. Note that there are various tuition rates for Canadians, please refer to Student Accounts' fee tables听for complete information.
Document required:
Canadian birth certificate听OR- Proof of Canadian citizenship听OR
- Proof of Canadian permanent residency OR
- Valid Indian status card issued by the Canadian government听OR
- Nunavik Inuit beneficiary card (or letter issued by the Makivik Society)
- Labrador Inuit beneficiary card (or letter issued by the Nunatsiavut government)
- Nunavut Inuit beneficiary card (or letter issued by Nunavut Tunngavik Inc.)
- Metis citizenship card or letter issued by the听Inuvialuit Regional Corporation for the听Inuvialuit of the Northwest Territories

Exceptionally, Independent (Special) students听registered at the School of Continuing Studies must also complete a Permanent Code Data (paper) form.听This form requires your handwritten signature. Once you have completed sections 2 to 8 and dated & signed the form, please send it as per the instructions on the "How to submit" tab.

PLEASE NOTE: Canadian passports can only be accepted for proof of Canadian status in cases where you already have a Quebec Permanent code which has been validated to us by the Ministry of Education (i.e. the perm code is visible in your Minerva account at Student>Student Accounts>View Tuition & Legal Status).
