Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada: Residents of other provinces and territories
IMPORTANT MESSAGE
Court ruling on tuition increases for Out of Province students
Although the recent judgment from the Quebec Superior Court declared the Quebec government’s increase to the Out of Province tuition supplement to be unreasonable and invalid, it also stated that said tuition remains temporarily in effect and gives the Minister of Higher Education 9 months to review this policy and modify it to conform to the reasons outlined in the judgment. Therefore, there is no change to past or future Out of Province tuition rates, for now.
