Vision & Mission

Mission

We support Indigenous learners on their journey to become health care professionals, and enhance Indigenous health education that supports all learners and educators to provide culturally-safe, respectful care in their practice and relations with Indigenous peoples.

This is accomplished through partnerships with First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities and organizations, driven by the following guiding principles:

  • Respect and reciprocity
  • Community-centered learning and engagement
  • Relationship building and collaboration
  • Advocacy, allyship and leadership
  • Compassion and trust


Vision

Our graduates and °Ä¿Í¾º²Ê community contribute to (re)building healthy and thriving Indigenous nations, communities, families and individuals and advocate for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs as identified by Indigenous Peoples.
