March 5: ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý DINO ZONE: Learn about the dinosaurs and fold an origami dino.Ìý

March 6:ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý VOLCANO ZONE: Learn about volcanic rocks and eruptions.

March 7:ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý CLIMATE ZONE: Learn about the Canadian Arctic and how climate change is affecting wildlife.

March 8: ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý MUMMY ZONE: Learn how to read hieroglyphics and write your own name.

March 9: Ìý Ìý Ìý ÌýÌý ROMAN ZONE: Learn about the culture and life of ancient Rome. Ìý

MARCH BREAK NATURE FUN

March 7 from 10:00-11:15

Do you love getting outside to play and to explore nature? We do, too! Come and learn about the Canadian Wildlife Federation's Wild Family Nature Club program and how you can start up your own club and receive a Canadian Wildlife Federation backpack full of activity cards and gear. All for free! Join us at the Redpath Museum (room 106) for a short intro inside and then an hour of March Break scavenger hunt fun outside. Ages: 5-8. Please note: parents and children join in the fun together.

Land Acknowledgement

Rematriation, Repatriation and Restitution Statement

We acknowledge that the return and restitution of cultural and natural heritage to communities of origin is an essential part of reconciliation and of recognizing the fundamental rights of Indigenous Peoples. As part of wider efforts to activate the standards presented in the Canadian Museums Association Report Moved to Action: Activating UNDRIP in Canadian Museums (2022), the Redpath is working towards pro-active restitution practices. As per our Collections Management Policy (2024), repatriation requests will be received by the Redpath Museum Director and will be treated on a case-by-case basis.
