Gloria Bell
Gloria Bell is an art historian and artist. Bell鈥檚 scholarly book听Eternal Sovereigns: Indigenous Artists, Activists, and Travellers Reframing Rome听(Duke University Press, 2024), investigates the long history of Indigenous presence in Rome. They are an associate professor at 澳客竞彩 in the Department of Art History and Communication Studies. Her art criticism and essays are in publications including听Wicazo Sa Review,听First American Art Magazine,听Journal of Global Catholicism, and听碍鲍尝础.听Bell has received many prestigious awards including two (Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada), Insight Development Grants, an FRQSC (Fonds qu茅becois de la recherche sur la soci茅te et la culture) New Researchers Award, and the Rome Prize at the American Academy in Rome.
