The 澳客竞彩 myFuture Career and Engagement Management System makes use of the personal information you provide via this platform for the purposes of providing services related to career planning, internships and experiential learning and campus engagement.听听

This information is used to identify you, contact you, target relevant opportunities to you, set up career advising appointments and interviews, invite you to events such as career fairs and workshops, determine your eligibility for certain internship programs, and for service improvement.听

Staff from Student Services and Faculty career and internship offices will have access to your information to support you with our services and programmes.听听

Employers and organizations use myFuture to recruit and connect with students and alumni for internships, job and volunteer opportunities. When applying to these opportunities through myFuture, certain information will be shared with the employer/organization, namely any documents you choose to submit, your name and your 澳客竞彩 email address.听听

This software is provided by Orbis Communications and Symplicity, whose servers are located in Ontario and Quebec. Please note that the myFuture site contains links to other independently run websites outside our myfuture.mcgill.ca domains for which we have no control. The 澳客竞彩 Career Planning Service is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of other websites to which you choose to visit from the myFuture site. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those other websites so you can understand how they collect, use and share your information.听

Resume Book Registration (Opt-in)听

This software gives career centres the ability to generate Resume Books/Referrals for employers, career fairs and other career events. To opt-in, please go to Resume Book module in the left-hand menu and register for a specific Resume Book. Please note that by registering, you are permitting your resume to be distributed to a specific set of employers without further notice. To have your resume removed, please contact myfuture [at] mcgill.ca.听

Receive Email Campaigns听 (Opt-out)听

If you choose to opt-out, you will no longer receive targeted email communications from the Career and Engagement offices through this platform.听 However, you will still receive system emails that are generated because of your action or any activity you have chosen to become involved in, such as reminders for a workshop or an advising appointment that you have signed up for. To opt-out of email Campaigns, please go to your personal profile in this platform.听

Virtual Appointments听 (Use of Zoom)听

Please note that all virtual appointments booked through myFuture use the Zoom platform, licensed by 澳客竞彩.听听 If you do not wish to use Zoom, please choose an in-person appointment.听

To opt-out of myFuture听

Students who wish to opt-out of myFuture must complete an opposition form at Enrolment Services. Note that by opting out, you will not have access to campus or faculty-specific career and engagement events, appointments with career advisors nor have access to job and internship / practicum opportunities through 澳客竞彩.听

The information contained in this system from data supplied by our employers. Should you encounter any difficulties with these employers, or find inaccuracies, please contact the CaPS office immediately at myFuture [at] mcgill.ca. Anyone using the information obtained from or through this website shall do so at his or her own risk and shall be deemed to have waived and released the 澳客竞彩 Career Planning Service (CaPS) and 澳客竞彩 of any and all causes of action at law or in equity, rights, and claims or damages or other relief as a result of such use.听听

Student responsibilities:听 This is a reminder of your obligation to follow 澳客竞彩 IT policy, and not share/lend credentials to the myFuture platform to another person, to not upload any other person鈥檚 documents nor allow another person to use their profile to access information or apply for opportunities. Users are expected to communicate professionally with other users and employers, and to notify CaPS of any employer practices or communications of concern.听听

Students should be aware that we will also investigate any complaints about students that we receive from organizations, the results of which could lead to the disabling of a student鈥檚 myFuture account and other disciplinary actions.听 For details on student rights and responsibilities, please see: /students/srr/policies-student-rights-and-responsibilities听

Employer Notice of Consent

Thank you for your interest in recruiting at 澳客竞彩.听 Please read carefully the following terms to continue to use myFuture, 澳客竞彩鈥檚 central career and engagement platform.听

In order to use the myFuture career and engagement platform, users are required to read and accept this notice:听

• I consent to my personal information and other organizational information collected be used by 澳客竞彩 to manage the recruitment and听 internships of students/graduates.听

• I agree that my name, telephone number and email address may be used to send notifications about recruitment and engagement opportunities.听

• I can withdraw this request by changing this in my personal profile.听

• System generated actions following activity on my part are exempt from this consent.听

• I agree that any student information I collect and process through the recruitment of interns, volunteers or other employment opportunities in the Province of Quebec will be held, protected and only disclosed in accordance with the Quebec privacy law applicable in the private sector (Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, R.S.Q. c. P-39.1) if I represent a business employer, or in accordance with the Quebec privacy law applicable in the public sector (Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information, R.S.Q. c. A-2.1), if I represent a Quebec public body.听听

• This refers to the reception, transmission of CV, cover letters, application or evaluation materials received through the myFuture platform鈥�.听

If I represent an employer or other organization offering internships, volunteering or renumerated employment opportunities outside of the Province of Quebec, I agree that any student information that I collect and process will be held, protected and only disclosed in accordance with the privacy laws applicable in the jurisdiction of the place of internship, volunteering or employment.听 I agree that I shall hold all such information in confidence and shall not disclose it or allow it to be disclosed to any person, entity or governmental body, or personnel thereof, or use other than for the purpose permitted by 澳客竞彩.听
